GGGGRRRR Helen
I consider it a great honour to be elected Chair of the DeA Minis RFC. As the best club in Hong Kong I am delighted to be leading up the Minis section. A bit about me - I have two Tigers; Louie, who has just graduated this year and will be joining the Colts; and Saul, who is moving up to the U11s next season. My husband, Barry, is one of the U11 coaches. Our family has been involved with DeA since we arrived in Hong Kong nearly five years ago. I am committed to build on the good work done by previous Chairs, in order to promote our aim which is as follows:
"It's not the winning, but the spirit of fair-play, enjoyment and safety that is paramount."
Hi everyone,
Try to take some time out of your day tomorrow and go over to Football Club to support the Hong Kong National side against Kazakhstan tomorrow. This is a crucial game for Hong Kong and many of our DeA Tiger seniors (and former DeA minis) will be playing. It is also one of DeA Tigers longest serving players (former captain and coach) Nigel Clarke's last game so it would be good to have a huge DeA crowd to cheer him on.
2. Jon Abel- DeA
5. Nigel Clarke- DeA
10.
Keith Robertson- DeA
13. Rowan Varty- DeA
14. Alex McQueen (Former DeA mini)
22. Tom McQueen (Former DeA Mini)
Dear Minis Members
The DeA Tigers Rugby Dinner will be held on 29th May 2010. It would be great to see as many parents /coaches/ members supporting this event as possible, to mark the end of the season and help raise money for the coming season! This is where the club comes together at all divisions, i.e. Minis, Youth and Seniors, in a social setting. There will be plenty of food, drink and a live band, so as to dance the night away. I hope that Minis can coordinate getting a number of tables on the evening. Details:
Kowloon Cricket Club
7:30 pm for 8:00 pm
HK$600
Dress: : Lounge suit / cocktail dress
Please refer to attached poster for the event. Contact Roi at: roiboyd@hotmail.com for tickets, and you can pay on the night. However, once you commit to a ticket, no shows will still have to pay!
Go Tigers!!
Peter (Outgoing Minis Chair)
