Xmas Party on Sunday 13th December
Dear Minis Members
This is a final reminder that we will have our Xmas fun day on Sunday, so please come along and enjoy the festive season at King's Park. Helen Adams and Jim Middleton will be coordinating events. Helen, with the help of DeA coaches, will be setting up several fun activities on pitches 2 & 3 between 09.00-11.00 and Jim will be on the PA system asking groups to rotate every 20 minutes, so that all age groups get to participate, with their parents, in each activity. Parents - please come dressed to join in and also to help organise the kids. We also plan to have a kicking competition for adults, after the kids activities have finished, where you may even win a bottle of the finest Park N Shop 2009 wine!! Mums and dads will be invited to participate! I will not take part, so as to give others a chance to win, because with Welsh blood running through my veins I would have a natural unfair advantage!
IMPORTANT!! - May I remind all members to bring along a donation of food, so that we can set up a buffet/feast for all to share. We really depend on your generosity and support to make this a success, so please help by contributing some food or snacks for the party. I LOVE INDIAN FOOD, but this is not a hint or anything!
The food will be only be available from 11.00 onwards, so don't try to get an early start on the buffet!! Also please ensure you reserve time to stay behind and enjoy socialising with all of our members. The bouncy castle will be set up for kids to continue to play after the events have finished.
For those of you who do not feel too sporty, you can go to pitch 1 and watch our U10s-U12s doing battle from 09.00-11.00 with a Singapore touring side, from their centre of excellence in rugby.
I hope we have a great turn out this weekend, with lots of food to share. This is a great opportunity for all Minis members to come together and socialise, have fun and make new friends, so cancel all other plans on Sunday morning!!
See you then.
Go Tigers!!
Peter (DeA MInis Chair)
