Dear Minis Members

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great holiday. We hope to welcome you all back to training at King's Park this Sunday. Pitch arrangements:

08.30-10.30  Half of pitch 3  U6-U7s

08.45-11.00  Pitch 2  U8-U10s

08.45-11.00  Pitch 1  U11-U12s and U11-12 Girls

Important that all players attend this weekend, as this is the last chance to prepare for the Tai Po festival at King's Park on Sunday 17th January. This will involve matches against players from 17 clubs throughout Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories, so it is a great occasion for the kids. Coaches will need players to come this weekend, so as to organise teams for the following week and to get in final training/preparation. Please make every effort to be there.

There will be a refereeing course organised by the HKRFU, starting next week. This is for people who want to referee from adults down. DeA Minis will pay for anyone who completes the course and submits a payment receipt. Details:

Finally, DeA Tigers seniors will be playing a Division 1 match against HKFC at 6.00-8.00pm on Saturday night, on King's Park pitch 1. Please make an effort to come along and support Rowan Varty and the team. DeA are third in the league and HKFC are second, so this will be a great match and DeA could do with the support. Delaney's will be open for drinks and food and the kids would enjoy seeing how the seniors play the game. So, make an effort and come along!!

See you all on Sunday, I hope. At the end of Minis training on Sunday, there are a couple of youth games to watch on pitch 1, staartiing at 11.15, so stay back and enjoy the rugby and support DeA players.

Go Tigers!!

Peter (DeA Minis Chair)
