Tai Po Festival on Sunday
Dear Minis Members
Just a final reminder about the Tai Po festival on Sunday. We need as many DeA Minis to attend as possible, so please make the effort to come. The schedule is attached for your reference. Great festival, with lots of exciting rugby, the bouncy castle, many stalls and fun activities, lots of food and beverages and a lion dance. There will be no parking on Sunday, as Tai Po control that and they have only given out parking permits to invited guests, so please use public transport and get off at Wylie Road. Do not attempt to drive up Wylie Path to the sports ground, as this will cause traffic flow problems.
Also, be very careful and vigilant with your personal belongings on Sunday as things always go missing at these events. Do not leave your possessions unattended at any time and make sure your kids take care of theirs too.
I hope everyone has a great day on Sunday and I hope you all give the kids plenty of vocal support. However, please remember that all referees are volunteers and that they are doing a tough job with only one pair of eyes. Please treat all referees with respect on the day, especially me!! We all make mistakes, so please applaud the referees after the games rather than giving them a bad day!!
Go Tigers!!
Peter (DeA Minis Chair)
