Training update

Everyone should be at HKU SB Festival this weekend, so there will be no training at King's Park.

The full program is on the website (http://www.deatigersrfc.com/files/SB_RFC_2011_Final.pdf) so please download it and make sure you know what time your little tiger is playing.  Remember that the coaches usually need at least half an hour beforehand to warm the kids up and organise the teams so make sure you get their well ahead of schedule.  Normally, the earlier kids end up getting more games because the late shows don't arrive in time to play their first game.

  1. BRING A MOUTHGUARD (if I could get it to flash, I would) - no mouthguard, no game.  Festival mouthguards should be more expensive.
  2. There is no parking.  The nearest carpark in at Cyberport where you will get 6 hours free parking when you present a child in rugby uniform.  There are regular shuttle busses from Cyberport to the ground.
  3. Police are targeting to bail Greece out with a special team assigned to the road outside the ground.  I'm sure I heard the phrase "tow trucks" - it won't be more convenient.
  4. Print your own schedule, these may not be available on the day.
  5. No alcohol on the pitches

Playup play down players

Small number of people, but a reminder to everyone, anyone not playing in the correct age group must have submitted a form to their headcoach before the festival and be approved by the HK mini rugby football union.  If you have not done so and you are playing out of age group you are not covered by insurance.  Even if you have been approved your coach must inform the opposition and the referee that you are playing out of age group before each game.

Sevens tickets

Reminder no sales until at least next week (possibly the week after) so if you want to get in early, register on line and then pay via bank transfer to our account.  If there are insufficient tickets to satisfy all orders then the early orderers will get priority.  We will not honour requests from people who haven't paid their membership fees so please ensure you're a paid up member.
