Reminder about Xmas party on Sunday 21st December (09.00-11.00)

Just a reminder that we will have some fun activities for parents and kids this coming Sunday for all age groups, from 09.00-11.00, followed by a buffet outside the clubhouse. It is hoped that all members will contribute to the buffet by bringing along some food for others to share. By the way, I love Indian food (big hint!!). At 11.00-11.30, the U12 Peninsula team, which includes many of our Dea U12s, will play a match against DeA U13-U14s, in preparation for the New Year's day tournament. So, while you are enjoying the buffet you will be entertained as well with some fine flowing rugby, big hits and exquisite try scoring by DeA talent!! What a day out. What more could you want? Please make very effort to come, as we really want the day to be a success!!

Finally, congratualtions to all players and coaches following a very successful Flying Kukris festival. DeA minis players did us all proud and it never ceases to amaze me how the standard of rugby improves at these festivals. Thanks also to all parents for making the effort to get up early and start the long, long, long journey to Sheung Shui. Helen did a marvellous job with the booking of buses and everything went smoothly. To top off a wonderful day for DeA, our U12s were undefeated at the festival and won the cup. Congratulations guys!! It is becoming a nice habit after winning the International Youth Tournament too.

I hope to see you all on Sunday. Parents - be prepared to be active and play games against the kids! Mouthguards are not a must for parents, you can take your teeth out instead and Brenton Judge will look after them!!
