Sevens video competition - message from the union

Cathay Pacific know you like rugby and the Sevens - and we thought you might like to see their new campaign for the Hong Kong Sevens.

The campaign is Get ready for the Sevens and it's a humorous look at how some of the participating countries might get ready for the big event. Just go to: www.cathaypacific.com/hksevens.  It's also a great chance for you to win tickets to next year's Sevens and we have two ways to win.

Video Competition: Participants can submit a 15 to 30 -second video showing how they get ready for the Sevens - the top three videos will be shown on the big screen at the Hong Kong Stadium on the final day of the Sevens and best one will be decided by biggest cheer from the 40,000+ crowd.  The winner gets 4 tickets to the Hong Kong Sevens 2010, plus 4 Cathay Pacific air tickets.

Anyone's video can be featured online, but only videos from Hong Kong, the UK, New Zealand and the UAE (Dubai) are eligible for the competition.

Voting Lucky Draw: Another way to win is by going online and voting for your favourite videos. Hong Kong residents will automatically enter a lucky draw and there will be 5 winners of 2 tickets to the Hong Kong Sevens 2010.

Hong Kong City Guide: To help you get ready, they've also put together a Hong Kong Sevens edition of our City Guide designed to help people - especially first-time visitors - get the most from their Sevens experience, with tips on restaurants and bars and getting around in Hong Kong and at the stadium. The guide can be read on the web, downloaded as a PDF and printed out, or installed on most mobile devices - iPhones and BlackBerrys, among others - for real convenience.
