Training this Sunday, Sevens and the ball
Submitted by website on Fri, 20/03/2009 - 13:40.
Just a quick note in to remind you all again training for this week only has been moved to pitch 3 at:
U6-U9: 8:30am-10:30am
U10-U11: 10:30am-12:30pm
U12: 12:30pm-2:30pm
In addition to the Colts 10s festival opreviously discussed there will also be a Hong Kong national 7s squad match against Japan from 8:30-9am so you might want to come down and see our national squad in action.
Roi is away unfortunately this week however she is helping to organise the redistribution of tickets at the moment and so this should all happen this Sunday at the club house. I notice there are still a number of members selling kids tickets for Sunday and Saturday in particular so it is probably still possible to get these if you'd like them, email 7stickets@deatigersrfc.com
Helen Adams is again organising the annual DeA Tigers RFC Ball on behalf of the general committee (thanks Helen) which has been scheduled for April 25, 2009 at the Kowloon Cricket Club. There will be more on this in the next few weeks however try to keep this day clear. It's a great day for all the divisions of the club to come together without the kids and it's always a lot of fun. Tickets will be on sale shortly.
Finally, a warning. Peter White is back this Sunday and so we can all expect an ear bashing on the superiority of the Welsh National 7s squad. Our only hope lies with BOD and his boys when they invade Millenium stadium early Sunday morning Hong Kong time. Should be an excellent game, if only it wasn't on at 1:30am in the morning - Now TV Ch. 671.
See youn on Sunday (unless Wales win)
