No training at King's Park for U6-U8 who will be at Flying Kukris ground in Tai Po for part II of the Flying Kukris Mini festival.  Should be a fun day down in Tai Po and their may even be some Christmas treats on the buses for the little tigers.  Santa will be in Tai Po this Sunday and so unfortunately won't be able to join our little post training Christmas party at King's Park.

U9-U12 will be in King's Park for a normal training session.

Buses for U6-U8

Buses will leave at 8:00am for the Flying Kukris festival from the bus bay in front of the Filipino club on Wylie Rd.  No need to come up to the top of King's park.

DeA Christmas party

It'll only be fun if we have lots of people bringing something, so please everyone who is going to stay back to remember to bring some food: cakes, noodles, biscuits, Indian, Thai whatever.  The more variety the better.

Next training

We will not be training on Christmas Day or New Year's Day and we've been told that the pitches are not available on January 8th however with a festival on January 15th, we'd like to have a training session so Tiger's are going to have a special away from King's Park training day.  Further details will be made available in the next email from me.

Tai Po festival

Please let your coach know if your child will be available for the festival on the January 15th, at King's Park.

Consumption of alcohol on pitches

Last year it was decided that there should be no alcohol allowed on pitch one (in front of the club house) at any of the festivals.  This includes all areas of the astro-turf.  If you want to have a drink, please stay in the supporter stands on either side of the pitch.  There are discussions that this might be extended to all pitches.

Referee feedback

Post discussions amongst the various club chairs, it has been decided that we don't want parents giving referees feedback (either directly or indirectly) after games.  Please refrain from doing so and let me know if you feel people from other clubs are doing this.  As a referee I can tell you that the toughest age groups to referee in Hong Kong are minis because they do a lot wrong and they've invariably got lots of passionate spectators watching everything the referee does.  If you think a referee needs coaching, let me/Peter White know the areas that need to be improved so that the referee training can be targetedIf it is urgent, speak to either of Peter, myself or your head coach on the day and, if necessary, I will approach the referee manager to ask them to have a look.

Sevens tickets

Allocation is out and we didn't get what we asked for.  We need to pay in a couple of days.  There are people that haven't paid but have ordered (and paid not ordered), basically get it sorted out.  Pay up before 25th and make sure you've ordered on the website or you won't be getting tickets.  At this stage, we can just about satisfy our requests but some of these people haven't paid so get your money in quickly or others will leapfrog you.  Payment this Sunday to Roi or online by transfer and then send the receipts to accounts@deatigersrfc.com up until next Sunday, 7:00am (when Santa get's home).  First come first served.

For those that I won't see this weekend on behalf of the committee and the coaches, have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

See you on Sunday.
