Dear All,

Thanks to everyone who attended the Valley Fort Festival on 28 Feb 2010.  We have another festival 14 March 2010 (see below for details) and need youto confirm your attendance asap please so we can organise teams.

This Sunday is normal training from 8:30 followed by awards.

Please also see information below on 7’s tickets, Football Club Festival and an All Girls festival.

1. DeAT U8 training and player of the month awards on Sunday 07 Mar 10

Training as normal at Kings Park on Sun 07 Mar 10.  As the total number of players registered in our club has increased by over 50% this season we will split the award ceremony into two groups with the U6-U8 age groups receiving their badges in front of the club house after training at 10.30am.

A Minis Referee training session after the training this Sunday will also hopefully be held – all welcome to attend.

2. HK Football Club festival at Happy Valley on Sunday 14 Mar 10

We now have the following 4 teams and need at least 32 players confirmed for this event. Please confirm you attendance to me asap.

Note that there will be no DeAT U8 training at King's Park on this Sunday 14 Mar 10.

3. All Girls Festival 24 April 2010

Please note the following if you are interested in entering this all girls festival. We need to respond asap so please parents of U8 girls please advise of interest.

Please can all clubs confirm the number of girl teams they would like to enter into the ALL GIRLS FESTIVAL on the 24th April.

It will be held at Kings Park.    Start time will be around 09.00 am and depending on numbers will finish mid-day or early afternoon.

Age groups will be as follows

U6        U6 and U5 combined
U8        U8 and U7 combined
U10        U10 and U9 combined
U12        U12 and U11 combined

In the past this has been a 7's competition and I believe this is what is preferred however depending on numbers and pitch space/time we may have to adjust accordingly.   Therefore, when you confirm teams please can you also advise number of players in each team.   This will mean doubling up might be an issue just in case you have two teams playing at the same time however we will do everything we can to avoid this from happening.

If you are unable to field a full team but have girls that want to play please give me details and we will try to arrange a combined team for you.   Obviously if we do this we will need a commitment as no shows on the day will leave some disappointed teams mates.

Please can you provide details as soon as possible as I need to arrange medals and am reliant on knowing team numbers.

4. 7’s  Tickets

Please bring your receipts if you wish to pick up your 7’s tickets this weekend – they should be available from the clubhouse.

Go Tigers!
