Dubai rugby tour - update

Dear All,

I am sending some follow up information regarding the tour to Dubai that is hoping to go ahead during the Easter break.

At this stage the interest has not been strong. We are now looking to take one team of 18 instead of 2 of 36. We currently have 10 players who have expressed an interest and would like to find at least 8 others. After closer inspection of the tournament rules we have now seen that players who turn 13 after September 1 are eligible to compete.

Some details of the tournament include:

·         Teams from The Middle East, Asia and Europe will compete.

·         Tour will be between April 2 and April 9

·         Cost will be roughly $10,500 which includes airfares, accommodation, transfers, most ,meals and playing kit.

·         The tour will be open to all players attending school in Hong Kong.

·         Parents are most welcome to accompany the tour.

·         Accompanying the tour will be the following people:

Paul Spain

·         Teacher and Head of rugby at Australian International School

·         ARU Level 2 coach

·         Former coach of Hong Kong under 14 national team

           Sanjay Lalwani

·         Teacher at Canadian International School Hong Kong

·         Has managed Hong Kong junior representative sides for many years and leading tours throughout Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Europe
